Who are we? Jaclynn Robinson earned her NC certificate in 2005 from GCNM (formerly known as GIFAM). Samantha Robinson earned her MH certificate in 2005 from GCNM. We have held an interest in Natural (Holistic) health and medicine from the time we were young, thanks to our Mother. We look at a person as a whole, or holistically, considering the physical body, the mind, emotions, and the spirit. What’s the difference between Holistic and Conventional Medicine? The main focus of conventional medicine is to treat the disease or the symptoms using drugs with possible side effects. Holistic medicine treats the whole person and works on strengthening the body’s innate healing ability through the use of herbs, nutrition and other holistic healing modalities. What is a Nutritional Consultant? A Nutritional Consultant (NC) is a person trained in all aspects of nutrition and qualified to advise people on improving their health through diet and lifestyle modifications. A Nutritional Consultant is able to evaluate a person’s nutritional needs with a thorough nutritional assessment based on current lifestyle and eating habits. A professional Nutritional Consultant recognizes that each person has different nutritional needs and is able to customize a unique plan for each client, based on up-to-date scientific principles and practical skills. What is a Master Herbalist? A Master Herbalist (MH) is an expert trained in every aspect of herbal medicine, including herb identification, harvesting, preparing herbal remedies, dispensing and combining herbal formulations. An MH will involve the client in developing an integrated herbal program addressing specific health conditions and concerns. Master Herbalists should possess a holistic philosophy, work on treating the whole person rather than the disease and consider the nutritional needs as well as emotional state of the client being treated. Our Goal: Good nutrition is the cornerstone to good health and with optimum nutrition, you can achieve better health and well-being. That is our goal as a Nutritional Consultant and Master Herbalist. Working together, we can identify any current factors that are contributing to symptoms and health conditions you are experiencing. Whether your goal is more energy, a stronger immune system, better moods, weight management, a healthy digestive system, better resistance to stress or a longer and healthier life, we will develop a diet and lifestyle program that is unique to you. The average American is overweight, exhausted, under large amounts of stress, unclear on how to eat for optimal nutrition, and suffering all sorts of preventable aches and pains. If you experience any of these "average American symptoms," we can help you. Your health is important, and there is no better time than now to learn how to take care of your body. Our goal is to educate others about nourishing their bodies for optimal health. The consultation is an in-depth nutrition and health assessment and evaluation of the client. Included are a nutrition analysis, recommendations for foods to eat, supplements and herbs to take based on the assessment and analysis findings. Our consultations begin with you filling out a comprehensive form, available online or through the mail. The cost for the initial consultation and follow-up (preferably 3 months) is $50 U.S. To be paid by Paypal or Money Order. You will also need to sign a disclaimer form, which is available for you to print and send to us by mail or it can be faxed. If you are under the age of 18, you will need to have a parent or guardian sign the disclaimer. Rest assured, that everything will be kept confidential. To get started, please contact us at jubilant_health@yahoo.com, and put "Consultation" in the subject line. Feel free to ask questions and we will get back to you as soon as possible. |
